Positive: Fabian and his wife are great hosts. The place is a guesthouse inside a condo which makes a safer and extremely quiet place. Very clean, comfortable and he breakfast was great. So do the two cats... I did not use public transport because Uber was very affordable but it is close to a main street with buses to the city center. Besides, though it is not in the city center, it is just 10 minutes by Uber. I strongly recommend.

Positive: It was great! It is outside of the downtown area in the quiet and safe neighborhood, near the stadium, Sapote. It took me some time to get to know the bus system but I can see myself staying there longer. Both Fabien and Marissia were both very helpful to me the whole time with whatever was needed. Having my own bathroom was also very nice. It felt like visiting a friend’s house, very comfortable and had a mixture of independence and interaction. Good breakfast, too. On my last day, Fabien even prepared a sandwich and coffee for me. I appreciated it so much! He got up so early (3:30 a.m.) and gave me a ride to the airport for a small fee. I recommend it to all the independent travellers who are looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Negative: The transit in that area was a little complicated and Google Map did not give me any information about the bus system of that area. Though that place is only 3 km away from the city, without knowing the public transit system, I recommend to use Uber. Though the public transit is 1/7 of the price that a taxi would charge.

Positive: Costa Rican breakfast generous and excellent! Fabian transported me to and from the airport and the bus station reliably and for a reasonable fee. Marissia gave me good instructions to get into town with helpful and enthusiastic ideas of what to see in San Jose. Excellent English. Friendly, warm, welcoming. Short but great stay!!

Negative: room small, adequate for one person, which was fine for me. Bathroom downstairs, right near their kitchen and living room, true to the description.

Positive: We had a great stay! The room is small but has everything you need for a short stay in San Jose. Transportation from the airport and to bus stations is offered for a reasonable price. All in all, it is highly recommended!

Positive: Beautiful, quite and comfortable place. I slept very good, had deep rest before my flight home. Good breakfast. Easy to get to the center by local transport or Uber. The owners are very pleasent and super helpful people.
