Negative: Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing and far below acceptable standards. The biggest issue was the poor organization and lack of professionalism of the staff. Communication was extremely weak: important problems were not explained to guests, and no proactive information was provided. When issues occurred, the staff seemed unprepared and unable (or unwilling) to offer any solutions or alternatives. Noise was another serious problem. The hotel was very loud, making it difficult to rest at any time of day. The noise came not only from the roof area, but also from monkeys nearby, which were extremely loud, especially early in the morning. This made proper sleep almost impossible. During my stay, there was one full day without running water and another day without electricity. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication from the hotel. Guests were not informed in advance, no explanations were given, and no alternative arrangements or compensation were offered. Being left without basic utilities like water and power, with no information or support, is simply unacceptable. Overall, the hotel failed to provide even basic comfort and guest care. Due to the constant noise, weak WiFi, unprofessional staff, and serious infrastructure issues, I cannot recommend this place. With better management, communication, and respect for guests, this hotel could improve. However in its current state, it does not meet reasonable expectations.

Positive: The staff was amazing. It wasn’t a very good location and the facility was unique.

Negative: My door was broken so we had to use tape from the front desk to seal it so that nothing could fly in overnight. That prevented the room from staying dry since it wasn’t sealed, allowing humidity from outside to come in overnight. The front staff kept trying to reach the manager to see if he can help at least by offering a discount for my stay, and the manager kept saying he would get back with me and was very unresponsive and pretty much ignored the request and never responded even after I reached back out two times.

Summary: Overall, the facility is good. I liked it However, if there’s an issue management does not resolve

Positive: Very nice property. Quiet peaceful location and very high end amenities. The food was excellent as well.

Negative: Only issue was we did not have hot water for the first day. Had to take cold showers until it was working. They make a prompt effort to fix it, but since we only were staying one night it had a for sure negative impact on the overall experience.

Summary: Impressed by the atmosphere and attention to desig detail! Just wish we had hot water

Positive: Our whole stay felt surreal. The Hotel is located in a forest area right next to the main road, but you feel like you are on island by yourself. The surrounding area is filled by the echoes of birds, monkeys and beautiful nature. The beach is just 5 min walking distance from the Hotel and you get the feeling the beach is just yours, we went to swim everyday and there were just a handful of people on the beach. The hotel it self has a open restaurant with the pool view, we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was really good. The pool is also amazing and clean. The room is fairly sized, cleaned everyday and modern with good WIFI. The staff was really helpful and polite. One of the best stays we ever had :)

Positive: The location was great, it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle surrounded by massive Sangrillo trees and wildlife, but your 100m from a beautiful Caribbean beach. The staff were great, very helpful, friendly and attentive.

Negative: The bathroom was open to the room without a door separating it
