The main level has a unique breathtaking views of Appalachian mountains, Heron Island and the beautiful Bay of Chaleur. The home is an opened concept on the main floor. The kitchen has a walking pantry, huge island for meal preparation, beautiful dining room . A laundry room is also available on the main floor. One small office with a Murphy desk double bed. The lower level has two bedroom with queen beds, a huge family room, and bathroom with a shower.

Summary: I booked this VRBO for my parents and my kids who were travelling to Charlo for my nanny’s 90th birthday. They travelled from Calgary and had a very easy checkin process. My parents have very high expectations in their accommodations and overall this property was great and met their standards. My only comment is it did not have bunk bed that we were expecting because the booking had advertised bunk bed. They did provide an extra mattress though so my parents were able to make it work with the kids. Perhaps the listing just needs to be updated to reflect there are no bunk bed. Would 100% rent again. Such a great property.

Summary: We (family) enjoyed the very spacious and luxury house sitting outside during the day (viewing the sea) and inside at evening in front of the chimney. Very well equipped kitchen with multiple dishes and all necessary tools and hardware. Well cleaned and modern environment. Pictures in the internet correspond with reality. A bit irritating for us: Lots of personal staff (wardrobe) in not locked areas (not marked as „private“) and - even more irritating - lots of food in the refrigerator (some open), which gave us the feeling that the owners would have left the house for a short while , being around the corner and may come back each moment. (—> didn‘t feel a „home“ for us as we prefer „empty/neutral“ holidayhome to stay, but that is maybe a personal preference , only 🤔). However this house is a clear recommendation if you do want to spend very relaxed and luxury time close to the sea. Be advised, that the coffee machine is a KEURAG (Capsules) .. you need the suitable capsule (which we did not find in the in other aspects „stuffed/full“ pantry 😉). All in all we enjoyed this location very much and spent a few very nice days of our holiday in the villa.

Summary: We arrived at almost dark so wasn’t until the morning that we were stunned by the breathtaking view. Was so nice to see family members reaction as they awoke to the same. Just perfect house with so much room for us all. The host was amazing and available to answer all my questions. Would definitely stay again and look for ward to it. Made for a relaxing family time despite part of the time was a funeral. Was sad to leave the peaceful beautiful spot

Summary: This home is lovely, clean and modern with anything and everything you could need. The village it is situated in is small but perfect with all the amenities you could want. My family had a very relaxing stay and the host was extremely helpful with the few questions I had. My family of five had more than enough room in this house to have our own down time and space to gather as well. My kids called it a “10/10” and we agree.
