Summary: The Dog-Friendly house was in a great location for our family reunion/vacation. It is an older home, and the inside was clean when we arrived. We had 9 adults and 2 children (5 & 1). It was nice to have a place where every adult got a queen or king size bed (and still have a full size bunk for the 5 year old). The docks were great for fishing and swimming. We rented a boat and had no problems pulling into the dock for the nights. The house was dry during the heavy rain, and it was comfortable for the entire family. We had plenty of room for meals around the dining table, the living room watching the Olympics, and the sun room for family games. We enjoyed the ping-pong table and the air hockey table (which I don't think actually blew air). The hot tub was nice for relaxing. There was plenty of cooking and eating utensils, plates, coffee cups, and glasses. I would give the House an overall 5-star rating except the well was dry when we arrived, and it was dry again on our last full day. (Both times were due to storms I believe.). There are also no curtains in the upstairs rooms, which let in a lot of sun early in the morning. The smoke detecters also went off consistently on our last full day. The place needed some repair work and cleaning around the outside, but it didn't deter us from enjoying the house.
