This spacious executive home we call The Cove, has two full levels with lots of spaces to relax, enjoy videos, games, books or conversation. We rent to family groups only. If soaring pines, a backyard swing, a play zone for kids and a cozy fire pit are important to you, then you have found one of the top repeat destinations in Port Franks! We have wifi, over 100 movies, and a shelf filled top to bottom with games and lego. Enjoy meals on an outer deck or spacious dining area. Spend your afternoons catching some rays on the deck, or enjoying a book nestled in front of the fireplace.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.

Summary: Our whole family Mom, Dad, three adult children and partners plus three grandchildren gathered at the Cove for a week. The weather was perfect for spending time at the beach which was about a 10 min walk. Port Franks is perfect for little ones, Sandy and very shallow area for safety and easy assess to the water. Ross and Sandy’s spot had everything we needed with the number of bedrooms to accommodate our family. A great deck off the living room where we ate most of our meals. Would recommend this cottage for a great family vacation.

Summary: The house and yard are comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed the large deck and it was wonderful to have the beautiful beach within walking distance.

Summary: A short walk to a great beach. We had a great time connecting with family. Well stocked with games and books. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Ross responded quickly to any questions. All in all a great week!

Summary: Our family had a great time at this cottage. The cottage is very clean and had lots of things to keep the kids occupied. Our kids loved the Lego, board games, and playground set in the backyard. Ross was very responsive and kept in close contact with us. It was important to Ross that we had a great time. It’s a short walk to a family friendly beach with plenty of space for everyone. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful.

Summary: This has been one of the loveliest weeks we spent on the Shores of Lake Huron and The Cove along with its owners made our time spent here wonderful. The expansive, well stocked, clean and well situated cottage was a very pleasant surprise. We would go back anytime.
