Positive: Location, the pool and the general vibe - a really nice place in Holbox.

Negative: The bathroom is not properly separated from the room so all the sound and smell is a part of the room.

Positive: The location was really good. The hotel is in the center of the main part of Holbox, 5 minutes from the beachfront and 10 minutes from the port. In the center there are a lot of restaurants and bars . The staff was helpful and very polite. As of the room, the space was a little bit limited, the bed is although pretty big. Our sheets were dirty, we had to get some clean from reception. The pool of the hotel was seeming a bit dirty. There were a lot of leaves from the nearby trees inside, not cleaned by the pool maintenance. In the hotel were also a lot of racoons, who also had a nest at the rooftop of the apartments, that's why i wouldn't guarantee the cleanliness of the pool. We didn't use it. The breakfast had only limited choices of one or two plates. We didn't try it because of the look of it.

Positive: I am pretty glad that we chose el Pueblito for our holidays on Holbox, beautiful installations, excellent location, the staff was amazing the guy on reception was very helpful and friendly, quite place, really good breakfast, nice to hear birds singing in the morning and evening, also was able to spot some nights racoons around.

Positive: Beautiful spot with bohemian/artsy decor and our room (called Nube) had a balcony with hammock overlooking the pool that was so nice. :) Very well located close to other shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. It includes free breakfast which was decent, but there’s also a really good cafe called Cappricio at the front that’s worth checking out. They also had free water refill spots around the hotel. We will definitely come back!

Negative: The pool was a little dirty at times with leaves etc but still refreshing on a hot day. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful but sometimes seemed a little grumpy (for example, we had to ask for more shampoo bottles as they hadn’t been replaced and they seemed mildly annoyed). The bed was comfortable but maybe a little hard compared to home.

Summary: Beautiful and relaxing vacation close to the beach!
