Summary: We had 8 incredible days in Ikaria. It’s a real privilege to have the possibility to reside in this house, extremely well located above the village of Nas and its beach, offering unforgettable sunsets. The various taverns and mini-market are within walking distance, about 10 minutes. The house is as described on the site, tastefully decorated, and our host has given us all the necessary details and help, for instance for the car rental, to enable us to feel on holiday during all our stay in Ikaria. Thank you very much Edeltraud! I would recommend to have a car, as it enables to discover the other wonderful beaches on the island, but with one warning: do not trust google maps or Waze for your itineraries, use a local maps or download the one from Geopsis available on Avenza Maps

Summary: The house of Edeltraub is ideally located with a unique view on the amazing sunset show everyday....Very nice island not much crowded yet. Beaches and sea are astounding but dont expect to visit too much things. The island is a rock mountain with very turning roads so to get from one point to the other could be long...People are nice but food is not our best souvenir

Summary: We all loved our stay in Ikaria, the house was perfect, lashings of hot water, a lovely open kitchen dining room, terraces for both morning and afternoon. For swimming and walking it is ideal and a wonderful restaurant in the evening for serious home cooked greek food. Edeltraud was very helpful in finding us a hire car. The only negative was having to leave we are all suffering from the blues for Ikaria.

Summary: The last 16 years we have visit 16 different locations in Greece so we allready have seen many islands and nice places.. According to us Ikaria is the most beautiful island, because of its nature, quietness, innocence, varied landscape, hospitality and friendly people. Kalithea's house has everything you could wish: much space, wonderful equipment and laying in a beautiful village in a very nice environment and area. the house is decorated with so much love and there are so many nice details.. everything you wish! And the two large terraces with palms and flowers having an overwelming view , the sound of the sea is surrounding you and the fabulous nature and hikingpaths nearby are just the ingredients for a holiday you will remember. Furthermore the owner of the house is really helpful: she did a wonderful job when our flight was delayed and she took such good care by giving advise and tips, she arranged our car rental etc One never will find a travel agency with simular service! If you like being in a crowdy place with many tourists,noisy people and beaches all covered by sunbeds: please don't go here! But if you dream of a holiday in a beautiful house on a beautiful paradise island with an authentic greek atmosphere: go to Ikaria and discover the unknown paradise..

Summary: All is more than fine with this location : It is located in a pretty small village with a direct view to the see (taking meals or resting on the terrasse while hearing and looking at the see is a real pleasure). Everything in this house was arranged with taste (house and garden). In addition to be beautiful it is also fully functionnal for a several week stay. We enjoyed very much and I definitlely recommend this location
