Positive: The Exchange Club Motel in Beatty, Nevada was more than just you sleepy little establishment back off the street in the downtown. It's affiliated with the corner property of the Exchange Club and right next to one of the best barbecue establishments ( Smokin BBQ ) in NEVADA. The hotel had gone through an extensive renovation and upgrade of all of it's rooms and it was very apparent that they put a lot of time and effort into it. They even indicated that the rooms were soundproof and, for the most part, I could honestly say they had very well insulated and made for a very quiet evening, even with all the heavy traffic that comes through between Las Vegas and Reno. I would say this is truly a hidden gem in the Nevada desert.

Negative: The TV did not work. They advertised they had an ice machine on the property, but it was broken. The room air conditioner was very noisy. It constantly cycled on and off, making it difficult to sleep.
