Positive: About 30-40 minutes from Zabriskie Point, the name says it all. It was just what we needed after a day in the DV 100+ heat. It had everything we needed. Karen met us and was super sweet, she even had provided extra food in case we needed it.

Positive: It was very peaceful and beautiful Mountain View’s. It was a clean comfortable place. The host was very nice and accommodating. Close to Death Valley.

Positive: The pictures are accurate, no unexpected surprises. Loved that the host gave a really warm welcome and that we could get a nice, quiet rest.

Negative: The air conditioning unit in the house was pretty noisy when switched on. This couldn't be helped, being part of the house structure, but being light sleepers we had to have it switched off and used the electric fan provided instead. Not sure if this arrangement would suffice in summer!

Positive: We had space to ourselves on a house/cottage. The hostess was very helpful. Everything was clean: always a major point for us. We were welcomed to use anything we wanted in the fridge or closets.

Negative: Disappointed that the surrounding farms had lights on at night. We were planning on it being a night sky location. Stars were good but could have been better.

Positive: Easy communication with the owner and easy to find using the map sent through. The property was exactly as described but actually bigger than the pictures give it credit. The owner left fresh bread, eggs, butter plus lots of dried and tinned goods for our use. Really not expected but really welcomed, thank you. If back in the area we would book again without hesitation.
