Summary: A hidden oasis. Within walking distance of black sand beach. Near 2 small towns Pahala and Naaheluu ( quaint). Lovely kept grounds

Summary: Booked location for access to Volcano National Park and the 'remote' southern area of the Big Island. The nearby black sand beach was impressive as was the clarity of the night sky and number of stars visible. While the unit is fairly spacious the kitchen is small and always on the warm side, did prep and ate on lanai which has a good ocean view. The kitchen had a good assortment of implements and the pans were surprisingly good. Despite not having AC had no issues sleeping with windows open and fans on.

Summary: We love the Big Island and all it's diversity. The location is away from the towns but we wanted to relax and rest so it's perfect. Love the black sand beach and the local beach hikes. Bummer that the Volcano golf course is closed but sure great living on a volcano 🌋

Summary: We liked the having two bedrooms! Liked the view of the ocean. Mildew smell upon entering the time share was strong to my husband. Kitchen was well stocked with ałl of what was neede. Had problem wth downstairs bath and shower but David, maintenance was right there and got it to work! Husband missed not having the golf course. The area is wonderful, we have stayed in the area two time. Some upgrades would increase the number of stars need! Best.for two couples!

Summary: Upon arriving at our condo we proceeded to put our groceries away and make drinks when every glass we removed from the cupboard was dirty. We checked the rest of the dishes and every plate and bowl had some sort of food residue dried on it.. the utensil drawer had it's own problem with black hair in with the spoons... we then loaded everything into the dishwasher only to find no dishmachine soap. Once we got our glasses washed in the sink we decided to make blender drinks and sure enough there was fruit pulp dried on the lid of the blender from several renters back as it took soaking to get the lid clean enough to use. After washing down the kitchen we had a light supper and decided to watch the news on the main TV and sure enough that didn't work .. we contacted Dave for TV setup and he was prompt in arriving but it's difficult to set up a TV that does not work. Later that night I decided to shower after a long day of travel and the temperature control in the upstairs shower/tub had a mind of its own. You set the gauge on warm and after a couple minutes the water temperature changes to boiling hot and turning the temperature dial is of little use, also, the upstairs shower curtain requires the plastic liner be replaced due to mould on the plastic liner. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked. It was nice to have paper towel, garbage bags, coffee filters, laundry soap and extra towels. Some items that need to be replaced in the condo -all the bed pillows [stained yellow and old], cookie sheets [very rusty], rug on main floor living room [very stained], red plastic dishes in kitchen, wine bottle opener[broken] . extra cleaning required in bathrooms [maybe if the owner left some bathroom cleaning supplies renters like us would clean during our 2 week stay], and carpets removed. This is my 3rd visit to Sea Mountain and and the first time I have been disappointed with cleanliness and maintenance. We did leave 4 new plastic glasses in the unit , and clean dishes in the dishwasher. We did not leave towels and sheets in the washer and dryer as the washer and dryer left stains on our clothes when we used them and didn't want to do that to your linens.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Kitchen fully stocked with all the proper equipment to make a full dinner. Just like home. Perfect location to view the ocean and feel the breeze. A definite must, if you are looking for a perfect place for your get-a-way.
