Negative: The renovation was loud, but they wrote it before so it was not a surprise. Another surprise I actually had is a small lizard in my room… haha!

Positive: I liked that location, easy for GRAB and Busses etc, staff were friendly, room very clean.

Negative: While we were there they had maintenance done on the upper part of the hotel, so constant drilling and lots of super loud noise and even vibration from about 8:30am all the way until 5:30pm, I got sick while I was there and had to stay in the hotel for one afternoon to rest and sleep, not a chance, it was so loud you could barely hear your own thoughts. Nice hotel but wouldn't go there again during maintenance time.

Summary: Should've checken if they were still doing renovations during my stay.

Positive: Good location, comfortable room and beds, helpful staff, warm shower and good water pressure. Very clean

Negative: The construction. We had no idea they would be jackhammering above our room from 9-5. It made being in the room during the day rather unbearable

Negative: Feels very old, far from train stations, a bit moldy. Bathroom is not up to western standards

Positive: Location is excellent, walkable from mrt, lots of busses, Khaosan Road area, palace etc. Lots of convenience stores close by, and a morning market just steps away at the canal. Also close to a park with a running track and exercise equipment. The hotel room was large with an opening window, aircon and a fridge. Plenty of surface space. The bed was large and not too hard. Wifi was decent and staff very pleasant and helpful. Some reviews mentioned renovation work, this didn't disturb us at all and it is clearly advised by the hotel on booking.com. We would definitely stay here again

Negative: There was a slight problem with the gutter above our window so when we had very heavy rain it would leek through the window a bit and down the side of the wall to the floor. The staff were fantastic though and immediately came in to mop up the water and gave us extra towels to put there. This would not put me off staying again.

Positive: I had a great stay at this hotel🥰 the location is very convenient, close to popular tourist attractions, and the staff was super helpful in recommending local spots to visit and the event nearby. The room was huge, plenty of space for my luggage and very comfortable overall. Everything was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the heart of Bangkok!
