Positive: The location is amazing, with an excellent view to the lake. There are A/C in all the rooms, living room and kitchen so it was very easy to stay comfortable even in winter. The property was very clean, we found coffee and tea and some cooking basics (oil, salt, spices). The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. We could cook together as a group. The space was bright and welcoming. Pay attention that all the rooms have double beds. For those of us who weren't couples it still worked but we had to share the bed. The bedrooms were clean, well lit, and comfortable.

Negative: The driving access ramp to the house is very steep and narrow. I found it harrowing, but, with time, it can be managed. The owner cleaned it of leaves before we arrived so it wouldn't be so slippery. So they were very careful with us.

Summary: We loved it and hope to come back some day.

Positive: We had a truly unforgettable stay at this wonderful house in Gerês! The location is simply perfect—nestled in the heart of nature, yet close enough to explore all the beauty that the Gerês region has to offer. One of the absolute highlights was the stunning pool, which offers breathtaking views over the river. We spent hours relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful scenery and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. But what really made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready with great tips about local sights and restaurants. Their kindness made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a serene escape in Gerês. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
