Summary: We stayed 1 week at Essence and enjoyed every moment. The privacy and peace was exactly what we needed and we were please to fine this property luxuriously appointed. A private pool was ideal and we used it extensively. The only thing that would have made it a better experience is a coffee machine. Cafes and restaurants are a short walk away with enough choice that if you wanted to stay in Horseshoe Bay you could. We booked a rental car just before arriving and were very pleased we did. It made exploring the island so much easier. When we return to Magnetic Island there isnt anywhere else we will stay. The staff at Best of Magnetic were great.

Summary: Essence Beachfront Retreat was perfect for our four night relaxing getaway. There were great restaurants/cafes within walking distance and the area was quiet. The internal couches could have done with a clean and it would have been nice to have some additional linen and an inside dining option (only table/chairs was outside with mosquitos) but, overall, it was a nice stay

Summary: My husband & I stayed at Essence. We were amazed at the quality and the foresight that has gone into this hidden gem. We felt we could stay here forever. A short morning stroll to the local cafes, for brunch, bushwalking (saw koalas in the wild)and swimming at the lovely beaches. We will be returning for more tranquillity.

Summary: My boyfriend and I went and stayed at Essence and we are so happy we did. It was the perfect location and perfect property. My only suggestion would be to turn the pool temperature up. Other than that the facilities and spot was wonderful. Will definately be back !
