Positive: I’ve stayed in many hotels and accommodations across the world, but Escape to St Julians stands out as one of the very best — a true 5-star+ experience. Nestled in a quiet residential part of St Julians, it offers the perfect balance of peace and convenience. A short walk or quick bus ride takes you right into the heart of St Julians or even Valletta, yet the neighbourhood feels calm, safe, and relaxing. What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is Robert. His hospitality, professionalism, and warm nature are on another level entirely. With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, his passion and expertise shine through in everything he does. Nothing is too much trouble — from organising taxis and day trips to offering local recommendations and sharing his incredible knowledge about Malta. He sets a standard that others in the industry should aspire to. The breakfasts alone deserve their own review: beautifully prepared, fresh, delicious, and different every single morning. You can taste the care and thoughtfulness in every dish. And then there were the little surprises… Every evening we returned to our room to find something special waiting for us — a handwritten message on the chalkboard, Maltese chocolates, prosecco, or our room lovingly decorated with hearts and petals. These thoughtful touches made us feel truly spoiled and cared for in a way I have never experienced elsewhere. I cannot recommend Escape to St Julians highly enough. Do not book anywhere else — I promise you will not be disappointed. This place, and especially Robert, made our trip unforgettable. I will absolutely be returning.

Positive: Without a doubt the best booking experience. All of the questions were answered, even before they were asked ! Robert’s service was up to the max and more. Room was cleaned everyday, new towels, bedsheets. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and different every day. There can’t be said one bad thing that was experienced. Thank you for making time at this stay so welcoming and warm.

Positive: Hospitality at its finest From the moment I arrived, Robert was there to assist with everything, including picking up from the airport if required. Robert and Ruth have many years in Hospitality and it shows, if you wish to experience Maltese hospitality at its best, there is no better place than Escape to St Julians For me, Malta is my happy place, I have been coming over for many years, staying in various locations to explore this island, and it's history. Robert is just the best friend you could ever wish for, he is always there when you need him, his knowledge is second to none, I experienced some of the best trips, oh and the best food, the ricotta, the coffee, and as for the omelette.... are such the best Im not going to give anything away, but Ruth and her cooking skills are to die for, for her pastizzi I would walk over hot coals to eat these again. How can I sum up my experience........ Easy....... My lovely holiday, became my perfect holiday Thank you Robert and Ruth

Positive: The property was excellent! Everything is really well maintained in each room, if something breaks Roberto is fixing it right away. The rooms were cleaned daily and they were just perfect. We loved every detail of the room! ❤️ We stayed 8 nights, and reading in the comments about the great service won us! We booked a car, and transfers, as well as some other stuff, this is the first time i did not move my finger to book anything. Roberto was so nice, he gave the greatest suggestions as of where should we go in order to use our time as much as possible. We were even able to see the Birgu fest with his help, as we almost missed it. The location of the place is great! You have close transport and you can go to St Julians by foot. For parking there are a lot of spaces around the streets.❤️‍🔥 The breakfast.. oh that breakfast, every morning Roberto is serving his guests personally and prepares everything himself, you just need to advise him the day before when you want your breakfast. Yes the breakfast is kind of like continental, but every morning you get different cheese, different meat, different juices. And he offers great eggs, that he makes on the spot! The presentation was perfect each morning, you know exactly what you are having! Each night when we get back from our long trips we had a small (or big) surprise from Roberto and his family.. you cant imagine how good we felt after each 12h expedition to return and see something nice in the room. ❤️‍🔥 Man i returned to Bulgaria and Im telling everyone that even my Mom does not spoil me like that… 😅
