Positive: Location - nice area with park opposite. The secure parking area. Everything we needed was there in a nice compact space. Friendly neighbours. I was staying in order to do the Paris-Roubaix Challenge, so the parking area outside the front door was perfect for working on the bike in the sunshine! After the ride it was an easy ½ hour 'cooldown' ride back from the velodrome - due to the traffic and road closures, it was quicker than my partner who took a taxi!

Negative: The front door was a bit temperamental when it came to locking - that was a little frustrating. Not the hosts fault, but unfortunately next door were doing some drilling when we stayed during the working day on the Friday when we were trying to work remotely - that made concentrating difficult and online meetings near impossible. Generally, there were a lack of electrical sockets. Bring a 4-way extension lead (or two!) to make things easier!

Summary: Well-suited for Paris-Roubaix Challenge

Positive: Loved how clean it was and it is for certain spacious enough for 2! The host was really helpful over text in the booking app.

Negative: The murphybed was not very comfortable. It is okay for 1 night but not if you stay longer.

Positive: The owner Jamilah and her husband was very helpful by waiting for us in front of house since we arrived at night. They were very hospitable. The property is exactly like the picture and very cozy too. The main bed and sofa bed was very comfortable. A residential area and 15min walk from station Mons Sarts. Experience with the metro station was very hectic because the train was very small and pact even though its not peak hours and most of all the door shut very quickly and loudly too.

Positive: The suite was quiet and comfortable. The little terrace was a lovely little oasis. The suite was well-equipped.

Negative: Getting into town on the metro was quick but awfully crowded and hot -- seemingly at all hours. Of course there is little our amiable proprietor could do about this.

Positive: Clean small room with miniature bathroom. Apparently recently refurbished with new furniture, as well in the bathroom. Was well heated. Sheets and towels without remarks. Good and kind service in Lobby. Location was TOP! In front of train station Flandre, very close to train station Europe. Nice brasserie next to the hotel ande very close to the old center of Lille.

Negative: Very very small room, almost no wayt to go to the window passing the bed. Very very small bathroom. A big guy would probably not be able to sit on the toilet, which is partly blocked by the sink. View from window in the courtyard not pleasant, but not many rooms with view to the train station available.
