Positive: The host is awesome, she is very responsive and willing to help in any way to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. The room is like new, clean, very spacious, beautiful stone walls and wood accents, very cozy!! The entire building is very quiet and peaceful. The real French breakfast featured fresh local bread, croissants, delicious jams, coffee, tea, juice and yogurt. Magnificent views of the countryside with rolling hills surround you as you dine. It is located in the countryside, but worth the extra minutes to reach this little slice of heaven.

Positive: Exceptionally beautiful, this extremely well converted farmhouse is set among gentle hills and honey-coloured stone cottages where the quiet is broken only by birdsong and the lowing of Charollais cattle grazing in rich pastures. To find it, drive slowly and follow the signs with "Escale" in green letters. Hervé and Adeline could not have been kinder or more charming. Breakfast was delicious, baguette, croissants and homemade jam. In the evening, at their recommendation, we ate very well at the restaurant in nearby Oyé.

Negative: Honestly, there is nothing not to like here but be warned: payment is cash only and it's a long way from a bank.
