A great value for a family get away! Our beautiful, single family home, is situated on a quiet street in the Jardines neighborhood of Rincon. Located just a short walk from the center of town, less than one mile from pristine swimming and snorkeling beaches (Sea Beach and Marina Beach), and short drives to some of the best surfing beaches Rincon and the surrounding area has to offer. Our home is perfect for the budget minded family or group looking for a comfortable and affordable vacation retreat. Please note, we are close with our neighbors and ask all guests to respect our neighbors. No large, loud parties!
Explore Rincon: Less than a mile drive will bring you to Sea Beach (next to Tres Serinas), one of the area's pristine swimming beaches. You can enjoy lunch or a drink at Rincon Of The Seas or Villa Cofresi while relaxing on Sea Beach. Marina beach on Black Eagle Dr. is another great swimming and snorkeling beach, less than 5 minutes from our home. Venture down route 413 and you will find some of the area's best surfing beaches including Steps, Maria's, Domes, and Little Malibu. The Puntas neighborhood is only 10 minutes down 413 for more great surf breaks. Check out El Faro, a beautiful light house on the ocean or catch a glimpse of humpback whales! After surfing and sightseeing refresh yourself with a drink or a meal on the deck of Calypso. Come back in the evening to view spectacular sunsets over Desecheo from their deck.
Outside Rincon: Puerto Rico offers so many beautiful places to see. Short drives, under an hour, can bring you to spectacular water falls, or the bio-luminescent bay in La Parguera. Explore other surfing opportunities only 40 minutes away in Aguadilla and Isabella. Or, relax on the beautiful beaches of Tres Hermanos in Anasco!
Rincon = Surf! If you are here to surf then you MUST visit Green Room Surfboard Co. of Rincon! Located in the Puntas area of Rincon, Green Room Board Co. will fulfill all of your surf needs. Ted and Clemente, who run the Rincon location, are friendly, knowledgeable and know the local breaks. They will help you pick the right board for your experience level and for the local conditions. With a great selection of hand shaped boards you will have the best board to experience the Caribbean's best surf!
Additional rate, cancellation policy and arrival/departure information:
Check-in/Check-Out Times:
*Check-In: Due to the nature of late flights into Aguadilla, check-in is when you arrive at the house and details will be arranged with home owner and site property manager prior to your arrival.
*Check-Out: No later than 10:00 AM on day of departure, this is flexible depending upon next guest's arrival date/time. Additional fees will be charged for check-out after 10:00 AM if applicable.
Payment Schedule:
*All Rates are subject to change by owner based on time of year and Holidays*
Initial 50% of fee is due at contract agreement.
Final 50% of fee plus 7% tax, security deposit ($250) and cleaning fee ($75) are due one month prior to arrival date.
**A refundable security deposit of $250 will be returned within 5 business days after departure and upon satisfactory inspection of property.
Cancellation Policy:
*Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival date will result in a refund of deposits minus a 10% processing fee
*Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in loss of all deposits. If the property can be rented for the same time period a refund of deposits minus a 10% processing fee will be made.
House Rules!
Please respect our house rules. Remember, you have not booked a hotel, it is someone's home and it is expected to be treated as such. Just as we hope you create wonderful memories here, know that we have too and hope to continue to. So, during your stay please observe the following to ensure that we ALL can continue to enjoy this home:
1) Respect our neighbors. This is a friendly, local community, and we are a part of it. Enjoy yourselves, but be respectful of those around you.
2) No smoking! No need to say anymore...
3) Please do not bring the beach into the shower or the washing machine! We have an outdoor hose, please use it to wash your feet before showering and to quickly rinse any sandy clothing/towels before washing them. The sand is VERY harsh on the plumbing!
4) Please place all trash in the curbside bin upon your departure and try to leave the house as you received it.
