Come spend your vacation on beautiful Lake Arrowhead, an 1100-acre lake located between Portland, Maine, and North Conway, NH, and only two hours north of Boston. Our cottage was built in 2010 on 1.5 acres of beautifully wooded land. It is sunny, cozy, has an open floor plan, and contains all of the comforts of home, such as wireless Internet. Two bedrooms, both with queen mattresses, along with a loft area with four twin mattresses, sleep 4 adults and 4 children comfortably. Two baths, one on each floor, allow for privacy, and the first-floor bath contains a tub for bathing the little ones! A full-sized washer and dryer are located in the walkout basement and we updated the kitchen with new cabinets, quartz countertops, a tiled backsplash, a new range, a new microwave, and a new sink.
In the summer, rest on the screened-in porch with water views, sit on the private dock, or explore the lake by kayak. Guests can enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, tennis courts, and playgrounds of the Lake Arrowhead community. An outdoor fire pit allows for building new family memories.
We are old-fashioned and like to talk to all of our renters to make sure all of our expectations are clear. We want our renters to be happy and have an amazing vacation. Unfortunately, VRBO requires that renters make a payment before we can talk directly. We have learned over the years that a short personal conversation makes the difference between a good vacation and a great one.
Summer rentals are weekly from Saturday to Saturday. We offer special monthly and seasonal rates for Fall, Winter, and Spring.
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. A $500 security deposit is required and will be returned if there is no damage or no extra cleaning is needed. You will need to bring your own linen and towels.
Unfortunately, there is NO smoking in the house or around the property and no pets are allowed.
One last point: we have noticed that VRBO is creating promotions and discounts w/o our concent. Unfortunately, we cannot honor any discounts or promotions.

Summary: We loved the property. Peaceful area, beautiful lake, and easy drive to the coast. Also, if it rained, there’s a community center with indoor and outdoor pool, ping pong, air hockey, and pool.

Summary: This is a wonderful, well furnished, home to rent for a restful vacation. Although we did drive to the ocean for one day, there was so much to do here that we were able to just relax and not drive much. Whether we were boating (canoe and kayaks at the property), swimming (in the lake by the dock, at a beach of the association or enjoying the warm indoor pool a short drive from the house), cooking out over the firepit, playing games both in the yard and in the house, relaxing on the screened porch or sleeping peacefully in the comfortable bedrooms this property had it all. The kitchen is well supplied. The loons were a joy to hear. The lake was nice to explore. There is a large grocery store a short drive away. A good time was had by all, from the retired to the preschoolers.

Summary: We had a great week and enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake as well as the activities on the lake and in the surrounding area. We had one small issue but overall found this to be a lovely, clean home with really nice amenities!

Summary: The property was right on the water with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Perfect spot to swim, float and kayak off the dock. S’mores around the fire pit at the end of the day for those not too tired from water play. Property manager super friendly and place was clean and ready for our arrival. Great vacation spot

Summary: Place was clean and beautiful location was great fishing was littl harder to figure out than I had imagined but once we figured ot out it was fine just be aware of you have mobility issues there are alot of steps and dock is little far from the houae to keep a close eye on kids. Made kids where life jackets when going down to dock just to be safe if they were out of quick reach . BESIDES THAT PLACE WAS GREAT

Summary: Beautiful home on an equally beautiful lake. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the management. On our first day the tv had no sound. It was quickly rectified by a suggestion from the manager but the owners felt that it needed to be replaced and were there the next day with a brand new one. Great time wa had by all!

Summary: We had a great weeks stay at the house- lake was beautiful and warm, caught a few fish, close enough to visit our family nearby and the beaches as well, we went on hikes and rented some bikes in Kennebunk and overall had a great vacation! The owners and property manager were quickly accessible and responsive, the house is much bigger and more beautiful in person!
