The cottage is part of an old charming small farm, Hagastua, and is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest with a beautiful view of the farming village of Romedal. The house is furnished in the old style and has a warm, rustic and soulful atmosphere.
Hagastua is a visitor center, which among other things rents out Icelandic horses for rides. Here you can also rent bicycles, tents, floating tents, all kinds of hiking equipment, a trailer with 4 canoes and canoe trips on one of the many beautiful lakes in the area. You can also use the farm's facilities, such as dining in the old barn, horseback riding, baking chimney cakes in the brewhouse, or enjoying the sunset in the sensory garden by the farm pond.
