Summary: We loved our stay at Emerald Lake Lodge. Our room was clean and we enjoyed sitting on our deck with a great view of the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: It's definitely not the newest lodge, but that is what gives it character! Emerald Lake Lodge found a place in our hearts and we will return here every time we visit Banff/Jasper in the future. The staff was beyond helpful. We ask for soap and a new fire-starter while waiting for our tablet for dinner. One of the staff members grabbed them and started to hand them to me. With out missing a beat the manager stopped him and said they would have them delivered to our room and for us to just enjoy our dinner! Wow. Great service!

Summary: Our stay at Emerald Lake was great. The beauty of the place makes up for some of the aging that we noticed on the property. The beds were very comfortable and linens were spotless. Having a fireplace in the room was lovely on a cool night. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Burgess dining room. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff could not have been more accommodating our friendly. It is a bit of a nuisance to have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the lodge, then have your bags moved again from the lodge to our room, but again, the staff were wonderfully accommodating and made it a seamless as possible. We never had to wait for anything very long at all. We really enjoyed walking the loop around the lake. Some of the trail is not in great shape, but it was marked as such, and we managed quite nicely, enjoying all the beauty that surrounded us. I would certainly return to the lake and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

Summary: Overall, a wonderful place to stay! Our room was spacious with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking Emerald Lake. The only hiccup was waiting over 30 minutes for the shuttle to take us and our luggage back to our car (since there are no cars on the property, every overnight guest parks in a designated lot about 1km away).
