Positive: On water and loved the glass floor. Watched fish swim by. Nice view from balcony. Very private beach and loved the small island.

Positive: The location is excellent - complete paradise - with a fantastic coral reef in the sea. The food was first rate and the staff were super friendly. Decent bar too. It was a great place to stay for 3 nights.

Negative: Could hear a lot of neighbour noise through the walls.

Summary: Idyllic, relaxing and beautiful place to snorkel.

Positive: Our stay at Embudu Village Resort was absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as arranged before: they picked us up in Malé on time and transferred us smoothly by boat. We stayed for 7 days with full board, which was more than enough — delicious food with many options, much better than expected! We were a bit worried we might get bored, but the island offers plenty of affordable activities like snorkeling (the marine life is incredible!), night fishing (and they cook your catch the next day), and more. The island, rooms, and all areas were spotlessly clean at all times. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Every day, we received 1 liter of water per person in the room; we also brought some extra water, so we didn’t need to buy more, as full board covers drinks only at breakfast (tea/coffee). The only small downside was the Wi-Fi coverage, which was quite poor — but honestly, it didn’t disturb us at all, as we spent most of our time enjoying the island and only checked our phones briefly at night. It was truly an amazing, relaxing experience — highly recommended!

Positive: Good house reef but a bit off shore; saw sharks, a turtle, an eel, and tons of fish; friendly staff; close to airport but far enough away to have island vibes

Negative: Hot water was inconsistent; not all the beach villas are truly on the beach (20-30 meters away with views obstructed by bushes and trees); 7:30 start time for dinner was late for those with young kids

Positive: The beach bungalows were incredible. The way the room opened up to the beach was an absolute dream. They were clean and bright, and just had a very happy and calm vibe. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was amazing. The food was very good, with lots of options, buffet style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For anyone considering it, ask for one of the rooms starting with a 7 - like, 74-78. We thought they were the best ones.

Negative: We got bumped around the rooms a little, placed in the water villa on the first night even though we booked the beach bungalow. The water villa was not as nice. It was a bit dark and the bathroom was not updated. On the last room, we were placed in an economy room to accommodate a late checkout, but weren't properly informed this would be happening. This room was fairly substandard. All this is fine and not at all a problem, we just didn't get to maximize our stay in the room we chose, the way we would've liked.

Summary: An excellent 5 days. We hope to come back soon.
