Summary: Have stayed at this Wmbassy Suite before to catch flights from O’Hare for family vacations. If only traveling for a few days or a week, they have a parking option that we have used in the past. Front desk staff on check in was great and they got our two rooms next to each other. They also signed us up for a breakfast to go bag since our flight was so early that we would miss the breakfast. One major disappointment this trip was that in the morning, the shuttle bus picked up at the DoubleTree first and when arriving at Embassy didn’t have enough room for all of my family and bags (had to split the 7 of us). The front desk could do nothing but recommend waiting at least 30 minutes for the next one, which didn’t work for our flight plans. Had to spend $40 on Uber to get the rest of the family to the airport. If I wanted to take Ubers to the airport, I would consider staying somewhere much cheaper and a bit further from airport next time.

Summary: Beautiful hotel with an excellent breakfast and evening snacks / drinks. Rooms are spacious but the sofa bed mattress was thin and could feel the springs, likely needs replaced. Had one elevator out but had staff to assist and it was fixed by the last day. Main areas were a little muggy but it was very hot and muggy outside so that didn’t help.

Summary: Central air was not working properly in the hotel and fans were set out to help circulate air, kitchen had a fire that created a large amount of smoke in the entire hotel, dirty dishes were left on the floors outside of rooms, and floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in a couple days on the 3rd floor. Breakfast area seemed clean and food was decent.
