Positive: Yes, we you finally arrive at your room with your host, the keys are waiting for you in the room door.

Negative: Check in at this property is very cumbersome. You have to wait for your host to meet you in the lobby and take you to your room. It took almost an hour from the time we arrived until we finally arrived at our room. And this is very little parking available on the street where we need to park during check in.

Summary: This property is clean, a great location and a good value. However, check in is very cumbersome.

Positive: Room is nice, clean well laid out etc. lighting is controlled by the bed or at the entrance. AC works well and balcony of my particular room was welcomed. It’s a great room and although I didn’t cook, they have all the facilities and utensils + a clothes washing machine which is great.

Negative: The company may charge you an arbitrary cedi price, despite the original booking made in dollar price. Cedi changes a lot so just make sure it’s correct. They expect you to have the payment in cash but can provide POS if notified in advance. They constantly hand you a phone to communicate with their boss which is a bit like being at work when you are tired and want to relax. Most people book through an aggregator site, but this is a private let FYI. Hotel aren’t involved as such. Balcony did not lock on left side so there is a security risk there. Only a small bottle of water provided. It’s a luxury property, coffee/tea/beer etc would add a nice touch but not essential I suppose. A lot of generic fines in multiples of hundred dollars, not that I was intending to break any rules but they do seem a bit arbitrarily priced as I’m sure the real cost of fixing them is well below that. It’s a bit intimidating too, all the warnings you get texted. I don’t normally like to complain but at the end of my three month stay (this being an treat) all this stuff was a bit of a headache.
