Country residential accommodation set in a peaceful bush cottage garden co-located with the main residence and only a short 12-18 minute drive to Queanbeyan City & Canberra Airport. Elouera Garden Cottage is also only 25 minutes drive from Canberra's CBD and most of Canberra's regional attractions. Wineries, restaurants, galleries, Sparrow Hill mountain bike trails, Tallaganda National Park and the local village of Bungendore with its famous Woodworks Gallery are within easy reach.
For Australian Defence Force staff and visitors, the Australian Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) is located only a few km's away, and approximately a 20 minute drive via road to the main entrance or 5 minute drive to the rear HQJOC access road.
Walking distance to Tibetan Buddhist Virupa Retreat Centre.

PARKING & EV charging
The carport allocated to the cottage is only suitable for modest sized vehicles. Contemporary SUVs and utes will need to park outside of the carport, please ask upon arrival if unsure. Oversized utes and light trucks may need to park on the street.

Summary: It may have been a half an hour out of Canberra, but it was worth it! Pure opulence. Awesome green shady gardens made flash surrounds. Beautiful birds in the trees, kangaroos and bunnies munching on the lawn in the evening. And superb accommodation made you feel spoilt. Simply superb and highly recommended.

Summary: Phenomenal is the only way to describe the Elouera Garden Cottage. We were thrilled at how beautiful the cottage was with its limestone walls, timber windows and covered verandah with fruiting grape vines. The cottage was so well presented - spotlessly clean, well-stocked and with a very thoughtfully put together breakfast starter kit. The accommodation was excellent for our group of 3 adults, and we enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location looking out to beautiful gardens. The cottage was a great location for exploring Canberra while staying in a more rural area. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful place to enjoy going away for the weekend. The cottage was super cozy and romantic. Everything was very clean and the supplied breakfast options were a great touch. We enjoyed just sitting out on the chairs overlooking the garden enjoying our breakfast. Great place to unwind and do nothing.
