Summary: Bathrobes. And good ones on a regional run what a treat. I left Ellen Hotel feeling rested. Modern rooms, improved air conditioning since the last time I stayed. Dark and quiet for a good night sleep. Service friendly, the lady who served served me at breakfast made me want to linger alas I had to move on for work.

Summary: This is like an Oasis in the desert. So much hard effort has been put into making this Boutique hotel five stars or above Every staff member was utterly delightful to deal with. So only a very small hotel, we have stayed worldwide in all the usual top class hotels and can honestly say the Ellen hotel is up there amongst them thank you so much for a lovely stay

Summary: What a find in regional South Australia. a tastefully furbished very well appointed place to stay in an area where my expectations were not high. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, everything was clean and in working order. The restaurant serves good food (portions on the large side!) and staff are attentive, friendly and competent. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Port Pirie.
