A large two story house (approx 4,000 sq ft) with 4 bedrooms (the 5th is connected to the main suite with sofabed for one person), 4 full bathrooms, a very large living room / dining room with fireplace, an enormous kitchen, a big entrance with wordrobe, chairs, desk, plus fireplace, a separate laundry room and external cellar.
There is a beautiful English style lawn in front of the house as well as approx 7 acres of property and the swimmingpool with deck.
An elegant, tasteful recently restored farmhouse situated in the Langhe area of south Piedmont between the winemaking center of Canelli and the ancient Roman spa town of Acqui Terme.
The large farmhouse is set in an elevated position among the beautiful wine hills of the Langhe, near the medieval village of Montabone (walking distance).
The house has breathtaking views of surrounding valleys and vineyards and the area is renowned for its superb wines as well as its restaurants serving excellent local Piemontese cuisine, including the elusive white truffle which may also be found on the property.
This beautiful farmhouse has recently been restored to the highest standards with handmade cotto tile floors, restoration of the original stone walls and beautiful bathrooms.
The master suite is particularly suggestive with 20 foot ceilings and a full ensuite bathroom (with double sinks, double shower and a big round tub) plus the private living room with a sofabed for one extra guest (5th bedroom).

Summary: House was exactly as expected. Nice large house. Comfortably slept 3 couples and 2 kids. The home is in a quiet location with great views if you climb the hill behind the house. Lots of room on the main floor to cook and relax. Beautiful countryside to drive in. The host was responsive and we had no issues during our stay.

Summary: Beautiful stay and a really great hostess! We would stay here for a week. Unfortunately, from the second day onwards there was a major water problem in the region. As a result, the water was contaminated (swimming pool, shower and taps). Due to this situation we could no longer stay here. Alessandra solved it very well. She found it annoying for us. She immediately suggested to refund all the money (recently that she couldn't do anything), so that we could find a new place to stay. What great service.

Summary: Very pleasant house with some deficiencies..we found loo cleaning tablets instead of dish washer tablets beside dish washer and used them in error. No manual on house and area. Wi-fi very patchy and fans in bedrooms would have been helpful in very hot nights. No soap and dish washing liquid. Pool area needs attention. Owner responded very rapidly to decking breaking injuring one of us. House supply of water ran brown for last 24 hours Piano needs tuning but in fairness was not listed as an amenity. Despite this we enjoyed the house and garden very much.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay at the property, where we enjoyed the elegant and relaxing setting as well as the proximity to Asti, Aqui Terme etc. Amazing views all around! Both the host and her assistant were very helpful answering our questions and making sure we had a great stay. We hope to be back in the future, perhaps for longer stay.

Summary: 7 of us, including two kids, really enjoyed this location. It was spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, clean, and the views were astounding. Well located withing the region and the town of Montabone is a 20 minute walk, and is super pleasant.

Summary: we spent a tremendous week in this wonderful house and its beautiful environment. It was just fantastic: the view, the peace, the house itself, the pool, the excursion possibilities. Each party could use the own bed- and bath room, in the evening we sat together in the XXL-living room or in the cozy kitchen. The house has all the Luxus you can imagine - nothing is missing. We had a most relaxing time and felt like in paradise. Thanks for all this!

Summary: We brought two families together for a stay here - and it was perfect. Plenty of room inside and out so that we could be together or separate as we wished. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and cater for big gatherings with dining tables both inside and out according to the weather. Perfect for picking up supplies at one of the local markets and enjoying the local food and wine. The house has been immaculately renovated with everything that you would need for an extended stay. It has lots of beds and bedrooms and more than enough bathrooms. The location is deep in the Italian country, so perfect if you're looking for a quiet get away. Lots of lovely little villages and towns close by for looking around, but really this is a getaway location. The local area is quite hilly which can be challenging if you're planning on walking, running or cycle touring. The absolutely stand out feature of this villa is the view - as captured in the pictures on the website. The views down the valley and across to the hills to the South are simply breathtaking. They are beautiful morning, noon or night, and provide the perfect backdrop to an afternoon floating in the pool, or early evening aperitifs on the terrace. Booking was straightforward, and Alessandra was very helpful with local information and advice. A wonderful villa - we hope to be back!
