Summary: It was just right. Not too large. Not too small. Terrific kitchen in which to cook. Great living room for evening hang out and the location was just right for those of us who love to walk for really fresh food, well-curated books, clothing (new and vintage), records and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more. It was just right.

Summary: The house had nice finishes and is in a good location. However, the owner lives onsite in an ADU behind the main house (which I didn't see published). For how much is charged, I want a private property not semi-private. Additionally, the bed in the primary has an old mattress where my wife and I sunk to the middle. It's a nice place just too expensive for what you get.

Summary: As previous Oakland residents, we were hoping the vibrant village vibe of the Rockridge neighborhood still existed. It didn’t disappoint; all within walking distance of this nicely renovated craftsman. The home is clean, well equipped and employs many smart home features. Communication with the host was always cordial, prompt and efficient. Getting in and out of the driveway is a tight squeeze (leave the Escalade at home), but, didn’t diminish our enjoyment.

Summary: Convenient to restaurants, shopping and BART (as well as our granddaughter). The kitchen is fully equipped and great for a family meal if you don’t want to go out, although with all the great places to eat nearby there’s no need to cook. Highly recommended

Summary: This is about the nearest thing to a perfect VRBO as we've seen. Instant access to BART and SF. Mindblowing array of restaurants on College Ave. Smart house with modern fixtures / heat / lighting with sensible furnishings. Very accommodating host. Great communication.
