Positive: Theodora and Stelios are the best hosts you could ask for, warm and accessible people, who constantly surprise us with .traditional homemade food, and are always willing to help, with great recommendations, and everything The villa is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need, great location in a beautiful country area, and the view from the villa and the pool is wonderful. The villa is especially suitable for a vacation with a large family or with friends. We had a great time, far beyond all expectations, and we’ll be back, for sure.

Positive: Highlights of our stay: Theodora, the host, was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Her husband was also wonderful, assisting us with any questions or requests we had. The villa is spacious and well-appointed. We were a group of 12 people, and there was ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the living areas were perfect for socializing. The private pool was a lifesaver! We spent countless hours cooling off in the pool under the Cretan sun. The location is ideal. The villa is situated in a peaceful setting, yet it's just a short drive from the charming town of Rethymno. Overall, we cannot recommend Elarchon Villa highly enough. Tips for future guests: Be sure to pack sunscreen and a hat - the Cretan sun is strong! If you're planning on doing a lot of cooking, there are several supermarkets within a short drive of the villa. Don't forget to explore the surrounding area. There are many beautiful beaches, villages, and historical sites to discover.

Positive: Theodora was lovely and her husband was very helpful too, the villa is also stunning! Despite the few things in the negative list, the quality of the rest of the villa and the amazing friendliness from the host, definitely earn the rating given.

Negative: -There aren't locks on the bedroom doors -The bathroom and front door locks stick and require a lot of effort to open (we ended up not using the bathroom locks, because of this) -The mattresses are very uncomfortable and the pillows are quite literally akin to sleeping on airbags

Positive: The owners were so lovely and helpfull. If you had any questions or something you were wondering about you got the answer quickly. The house and garden is big, but it is two seperate houses. The house on the second floor is more modern as in the pictures. The first floor is also nice. You have to go outside to go to the garden/ pool area. Theodora hade made lovely home made food for us and an welcome basket. There are a few restaurants near the villa. We can recomend the taverna cactus. You need a car, no local bus nearby. We hade a lovely stay, thank you!
