Positive: Ela is located in an old Scan family house. If you want to experience traditional home, this is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed our spacious, warm and clean room. The house has a wonderful terrace - perfect place to rest after the day walks, read a book and enjoy the views of the mountains and a river nearby. The place is ran by the local family and we really valued the opportunity to learn from them about local history, the life of people in the village. It felt as a very special opportunity to talk with people, who know and value their heritage.

Positive: Very nice guest house with great owner, who speaks english. You can park there, take breakfast and even dinner. Just ask for price, as we have paid much more than ecpected. But considering location, and nice people we can say, that this is local community support.
Negative: Always calculate well and ask for the price for every extras.

Positive: A truly wonderful place with a beautiful view overlooking the Enguri River. The host is exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It’s the perfect place to experience authentic Svan hospitality and enjoy a genuine family atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to discover the true spirit of Svaneti.
Negative: There are quite a few insects in the evenings, especially at night.
