Positive: This was a lovely place to stay in Thong Sala, i can highly recommend it. It was comfortable, good facilities lovely decor, great location close to local shops and restaurants, the beach and the town centre and a really responsive host. I would stay here again without hesitation. And i am pretty hard to please!

Positive: Air-conditioning in every room, in the living room also. There was a BT speaker. Enough towels for everyone, water in the shower was always fine. Parking for scooters (maybe car also) under the building/roof.

Negative: The toilet papers smelled like 100 years old. The kitchen could be better equipped. Cleaning services every once in a while could have been good.

Positive: Elas Home is a quite large house right next to the beach. The furniture is elegant and sophisticated and it was very clean. With the second bedroom we had a relaxed time with the kids. Elas also a great host - if there’s any problem, she will immediately take care about it and also provides help for life on the island. The location is good for any trip on the island and there is a little beach closely, but not really one of the very beautiful ones (in the bay was a trash fire when we were there). A big plus is the israelian restaurant closeby. We met very nice people there and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand.

Negative: Although we had a great time and we really appreciate minimalistic interior, we missed some things we suppose to be essential, like a hairdryer, anything to clean the floor from sand and it would have been nice to have at least one glass for each of the four of us. It’s not a big deal, but given the fact that this was by far our most expensive stay (of 15+ locations we had in Thailand), we were a little disappointed not to have the basic equipment we had in most of the other places.
