Positive: El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

Positive: This is a trip that is one of those you never forget. Staying at this hotel was surreal, I mean, you are in the middle of the jungle where you hear the sounds of nature like never before. Staff was awesome, we were very well taken care and the food was insanely delicious! Rooms were nice and clean!

Negative: Maybe it's just me but I found boat transportation a little bit expensive, it was supposed to be private also, however it was not the case (it was shared both inbound/outbound). It's not big deal but I found this odd.

Summary: El Vijo - a place that kicks so much ass that there is no more left to kick!

Positive: Amazing stay with Bea and Carlos. What a unexplored paradise! We started our trip of 3,5 weeks in El Vijo and what a way of disconnecting from everything! The kindness of the host and the incredible wildlife make this place so special! Just to get there is an expedition but my it is worth it!
