Positive: This is a gorgeous property with a very cozy and warm lobby/restaurant/pool table and games, the fact they include the hot tubes is definitely a plus, it is pricey for the age the cabins have, and the reviews about the noise from the neighbors is true, there’s something with the sound that travels easily with the neighbor cabin.

Positive: Excellent reception staff. Nice setting. Cabins are set in a picturesque wooded area . Comfortable bed. Change of towels and room cleaned daily.

Negative: One set menu for Dinner is misleading. Nowhere to walk as not allowed to go in certain directions is misleading. We experienced cold water for 2 days and no-one apologised. We are in negotiation with El Pangue Lodge. Cabins are basic for overseas traveller. Strange drop down bath to step into for the shower which could be difficult for an older person.

Positive: Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Great shower. Very helpful manager in reception.

Negative: The hiking path was closed. The swimming pool was closed. The hot tub smelled frighteningly strongly of chemicals. The room smelled of bleach. The food at breakfast was poor quality. The buildings are poorly designed and all turn their back on the view. The place felt a little soulless.
