Positive: The location is perfect for doing the Caminito del Rey hike.

Negative: Due to construction, the hotel was a little tricky to find. This should be resolved soon when the train station renovations are completed.

Positive: Really comfy beds and pillows. Lovely private patio area with mountain backdrop. Friendly, helpful staff Perfect location to stay at end of caminito del rey trek.

Negative: Found the water temperature from the shower really hard to regulate.

Positive: The pros of staying at the hotel include its location: 6 minutes from the train station and bus stop that takes you to Caminito del Rey, and proximity to the exit after passing the track. The room is standard, there were towels, there is a terrace, beautiful view of the mountains and the reservoir. Beautifully decorated restaurant.

Negative: Although there are certainly more minuses, I was left with an bad aftertaste and disappointment. Perhaps I was misled by the rave reviews, which made me expect something more from the hotel. The staff is polite, but no more than that, we did not notice any hospitality. Incorrect description on booking: it says a personal pool and rooftop pool. My expectations included a small private pool, as described, but in fact, only a small rooftop pool on the common terrace, with cold water and wasps, very shallow, ie you can say that there is no pool. While on the roof terrace, we were unintentionally closed on it by a guest, it is impossible to open the door on the terrace on your own if someone put the handle down from the inside. Luckily, after half an hour, other guests came in, and we were able to get out. As far as I am concerned, this is unacceptable, what if there is a fire or other emergency. The food in the restaurant was ordinary, we liked the tapas, but dinner was more than ordinary, but we paid quite a lot, taking into account that we did not take alcoholic beverages. In the description, it is stated about bicycles and other entertainment, but no one even exchanged a word to offer us something. I would not stay in this hotel again, the price does not meet expectations.

Positive: Right at the end of the caminito trail so that was perfect! Also the staff waited for our check in as our plane was delayed. Great ownership. Nice and attentive to your needs.
