Summary: A truly beautiful, creatively designed hotel in an amazing location. We were on a climbing holiday and everything was so close. We had intended to go mountain biking too but never got round to it. Our room was stunning, the staff helpful, food generally good. We had a lovely stay. El Chorro is very small and because the hotel arranges so many of activities, it was busy in some areas eg reception. I would recommend the hotel highly.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our quirky room which was very comfortable with a great shower. Swimming pool and area was really lovely, a real bonus after a long hot walk. We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was good. Better on the Saturday than the Sunday but still good value for money. Fantastic location to do the Caminito del Rey.

Summary: Gorgeous place with a lovely hotel. The room was very cute but the walls were quite thin and we could hear everything on the tv next door. The food was amazing but the service was very hit or miss depending on the server. Would love to come back!

Summary: The area around the property has suffered a landslide. This results in a very restricted area for the frequent buses, residents parking and the noise and disturbance of workers repairing and clearing where the landslide occurred. The hotel lobby is often used for non residents to gather awaiting buses, getting passed them can be difficult. Finally our room and I believe most of the rooms cannot receive WiFi. This could be easily rectified with repeater units. Meanwhile those non residents hanging around for buses enjoy good free WiFi.

Summary: Rooms are really nice. Breakfast i al a carta, and you can order what you want. Really good and plenty. eveing dinner was also great. The location of the hotel is great for a trip on camino del rey. Parking was easy (we arrived in the afternoon). The shuttlebus to camino start leaves just outside the hotel. First one is at 7,40, next is at 8,40 and from then on every half our. Breakfast opens at 8,00 o clock. I recommend not booking start of the camino before 9,30. Then you can be ready at breakfast at 8, and order the food straight away, take the shuttlebus at 8,40, and be at the gate to the camino start at about 9.30. (shuttlebus is about 25 min and from there you walk 1,7 km to the camino start point.

Summary: If you’re hiking the Caminito Del Rey, or not this hotel is outstanding. I was amazed at how nice this place is for where it’s located. Staff was awesome, as was our room, and the food was excellent. We had an 8:50 start for the Caminito and the bus was right out in front of the hotel to deliver us to the start. And the end of the trail is just a short distance from the hotel. Parking was easy with many covered spots, and not super tight like most places. I highly recommend.
