Summary: Our family have just arrived back after a great week in the villa and would highly recommend it. Everything was as described, such as spacious pool, table tennis and outside BBQ so plenty to do in the garden and inside was nice and clean. The villa is located up in the mountain so definitely recommend a hire car to get up and down. There are small local shops and bars scattered around Algarrobo but for the larger supermarkets like Lidl, restaurants and beaches we travelled down into Algarrobo-costa which was around a 10 minute drive away. Rosa, our host, was brilliant from start to finish and very responsive which ensured a smooth check in on our arrival. The only recommendation I would have would be to provide a small welcome pack for guests with things such as milk, coffee, tea and sugar, as we found out the majority of shops closed due to the time of our arrival.

Summary: Negatief: De woning zelf daar moet je het niet van hebben. Erg warm zonder airco en zeer oudbollig. Enkel airco op 1 slaapkamer wat niet voldoende is. En apparatuur zoals vaatwasser en koelkast werk slecht tot nauwelijks. De weg naar de woning is levensgevaarlijk. Ik rij een Volvo XC90 (4x4), 27 jaar rijervaring en ik heb heel wat Marokkaanse bergwegen gereden. Maar toch scheet ik 7 kleuren deze berg op. Levensgevaarlijk. Geen vangrail. Als je niet uitkijkt of je glijd weg dan donder je het ravijn in. Ik vraag mij af hoe ze deze berg opkomen als het geregend heeft. De eerste keer reed ik mijn gezin bijna het ravijn in toen ik achteruit een 40 graden bocht moest pakken. We waren zo geschrokken, dat we 2 dagen lang de woning niet hebben verlaten. En zeker als je in de avond terugrijd. Want dan is het zwart. Geen enkele lantaarnpaal en een ravijn. De eigenaar moet daar echt een vangrail plaatsen. Desnoods samen met de omwonenden. De eigenaar wachtte ons beneden de berg op om ons naar de woning te begeleiden. Ze had ons echt even moeten waarschuwen voor wat er komen gaat. Ik zou die berg nooit op hebben durven rijden met een normale stationcar en volbeladen met gezin en koffers. Je zult toch echt een 4x4 moeten hebben. Positief: Eigenaar erg vriendelijk. Daar waar mogelijk onderneemt ze meteen actie. Zo bracht ze ons op ons verzoek een waterkoker en een andere strijkijzer. Uitzicht is adembenemend. Zowel overdag als in de avond. Je krijgt er maar niet genoeg van. Tuin is ondanks het kleine zwembad wel leuk. Zeker voor de kinderen. Je komt er wel lekker tot rust. Als ze een vangrail zouden plaatsen, airco in de woonkamer, apparatuur zouden vervangen en het interieur zouden vervangen dan is het een leuk vakantieoord!

Summary: We had an amazing holiday and enjoyed our holiday home. The location was perfect, it was close to several supermarkets and the beach (by car). It's only 30 min from Malaga airport and it's close to Nerja and some pueblos blancos. We spent a lot of time in the garden. Since we have a baby girl of 1 year old, we were very happy with the lawn so our little one could practice her crawling and walking skills on a soft surface. The house itself was nice too. We only missed some kitchen appliances, for example a watercooker, oven and dishwasher. But when you are doing the dishes with this amazing view, it's actually no problem at all ;-). The owners are very friendly. We would love to come back!

Summary: Hemos pasado mi marido, mi hija, mi perro y yo tres días fantásticos. Hemos disfrutado de sol, piscina, barbacoa y unas vistas de día y de noche maravillosas. No nos ha hecho falta bajar al pueblo ya que todo lo que necesitábamos lo teníamos aquí. Las camas supercómodas y sin necesidad de aire acondicionado. El carril de subida a la casa está asfaltado y no tuvimos ningún problema. Gracias a Antonio y a Rosa por su atención. Sin duda volveremos!!!
