Positive: Really loved the quaint feel of the place. The owners achieved exactly the right balance and level of input, gave an immediate response to questions and were so friendly and helpful, yet you feel totally independent there. The outlook and the gardens were lovely too.

Negative: There was nothing I didn't like about my stay!

Summary: Absolutely fantastic. The location, the hosts and the feel of the place itself were all fabulous.

Positive: Eightlands cottage is gorgeous. Well located for lovely walks in the Herefordshire countryside and for visiting both Hereford and Ledbury and lovely surrounding pubs. The Cottage is compact but very well equipped and has an extremely comfortable bed. The private garden area is a little sun trap and ideal for relaxing after a days walking.

Negative: Low door to the bathroom. 😂 We both bumped our heads.... but just the once!!

Positive: Lovely characterful cottage, very clean and comfortable for two. We loved the log burner as made feel very cosy. Nice to have free wood supply as was v wet and damp trip! Husband loved the big old key to open the door Bed was v comfy The owners next door were very friendly

Negative: Nothing, you just had to remember to duck occasionally as went through the doorway to bathroom but was warning sign 🤣

Positive: Location and character of the property was excellent. Comfortable beds, sofa and nice dining space. TV / streaming / music / kitchen facilities also good.

Negative: As a tall person (6'5"), I did find it a little difficult due to the lack of headroom in places. I know this is common when staying in a older property. It was fine for a couple of nights but I would have struggled if I were staying for the week, for example, so taller people might want to consider that.
