Positive: Gorgeous gem of a hotel in a fantastic central location in Bath - perfect for sight-seeing or as in our case, attending a gig at the Bath Forum. We had a room on the top floor which was perfectly-appointed. The staff are professional and very friendly. There is a lovely atmosphere in this boutique hotel. The décor is wonderful as is the delicious breakfast!

Positive: Lovely buildings, stylish decoration, great location, very comfortable bed, friendly staff.

Negative: Our basement room was marketed as a premium option but was surprisingly and disappointingly noisy caused by footsteps in the room above. Other guests noted the same. Earplugs were routinely provided. We complained about the noise and the manager offered free breakfast which was appreciated. Also a bit unusual to have no fridge in the room, and a minor point was that none of the USB power sockets worked.

Positive: Location, service, breakfast and lovely decor. Fantastic! There’s this wonderful lower lounge with honesty bar that’s just perfect for a rest or drink. The alcove space in our room for our son was perfect and so charming

Negative: One tiny negative. There’s a nightlight near the floor in the bathroom (love that there’s one!) that’s a tad too bright. It needs a dimmer or an optional cover. We just used a t-shirt to mute it a bit.
