Our magnificent Eiffel-Invalides apartment is ideally located in a quiet and exceptionally safe area of the 7th district called Gros-Caillou, a very sought after village at the centre of Paris between the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides, and a few steps away from the Seine river and the Champs-Elysées.
It is family owned and managed, the owner/manager is just close and available 24x7
The location of our apartment is the best for visiting Paris:
You will be able to walk to many major monuments located only 5 -10 min away such as the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Rodin Museum, the Pont Alexandre III, the Museum of Modern Art, the Orsay Museum, Quai Branly Museum, Champs-Elysées, etc.
Many local restaurants and shopping nearby too.
The apartment has been very recently renovated, decorated and equipped in a beautiful Parisian style, classic and contemporary, with a great attention on comfort and details. It is spacious, very comfortable, quiet, impeccably clean and maintained to the highest standards.
It is 60 sq.m (646 sq.feet), located on the 3rd floor (fourth floor American) with lift of a beautiful stone building from the 19th century, of 4 floors, and offers a direct view of the Eiffel Tower.
The living room is very bright all day; it has a view of a very beautiful small, traditional street in the 7th district from Paris. It ends on one side by the docks of the Seine, and on the other side by the many shops, bars and restaurants of the famous rue Saint-Dominique and rue Cler. It is equipped with a queen size sofa-bed.
The romantic bedroom with relaxing colour tones has an exceptional view of the very calm courtyard of two majestic Parisian private mansions. It is equipped with a top quality queen size bed with excellent mattress and headboard.
Windows are new with the best quality sound insulation available.
The bathroom has a glassed-in shower and bathtub, two sinks, a towel warmer, hairdryer and plenty of space for your things.
The apartment has a beautifully equipped kitchen with electric cook-top and conventional oven, microwave, dishwasher. There is plenty of cupboard space.
It is furnished with crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans, and utensils.
You will also enjoy an extended tour of the fabulous boutiques and fashion houses in the neighborhood, bistros, chic cafés, fashionable shops, open-air markets...
The apartment is also very near the Seine river: you can go by foot to the Louvre by making a magnificent stroll along the river, by using the pedestrianized docks. Or take an unforgettable boat trip on the Seine in the evening.
Finally, The 7th district is an epicureans' dream where you can discover the loveliest food to purchase and eat within your lovely apartment. . Upon arrival, the manager will supply a list of exceptional local resources : bakers, caterers, butchers cheese makers, pastry chefs, restaurants...all located a few steps away.

Summary: A fantastic apartment in a wonderful location. The apartment was clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. The AC was a portable unit and worked fine, but it would have been nice to have a second one for the living area. The host was wonderful. Checked us in, gave us a thorough overview of the apartment, as well as some tips for dining in the neighborhood. The location is superb and numerous major attractions are within walking distance as well as a nearby subway station. We would certainly stay here again when we return to Paris.

Summary: Great apartment, location, and owner. Portable air conditioner helped with the 95 degree temperature. Be sure to eat at Tomy right across the street which has incredible food and air conditioning. Would like to go back when there is cooler weather so that we could fully enjoy the fabulous apartment and neighborhood.

Summary: This apartment is in a great location in the 7th Arr. It is within walking distance of D'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, and many wonderful restaurants, including a delightful bistro across the street. The apartment is clean and quiet with good light. It has a clothes washer, but, unfortunately, no dryer. Overall, though, it is a very nice apartment for the money.

Summary: We loved staying at this nicely appointed apartment just a few minutes from the Invalides Metro and just around the corner from a key bus stop. Just down the hallway from the living room is a nice bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The window opens to the back courtyard. The living room is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you might want and expect. The bathroom, with two sinks, is well stocked with plenty of towels.The location in the 7th worked well for us. I highly recommend the Bonjour RATP app for navigating public transportation. The neighborhood includes several restaurants, cafes, and patisseries and is only about a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower (approach on Rue de l'Université for a great photo opportunity). We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Café de Mars.It was a pleasure to meet and work with Xavier.

Summary: The apartment is well laid out with comfortable furniture and a large, quiet bedroom. It's easily reached by the elevator (or the wide stairway, if you appreciate a little exercise after an excellent meal out). A well equipped kitchen and strong WiFi round out the apartment. Within a 2 block radius of the apartment , you’ll find several cafes, bistros, boulangeries, patisseries and grocery stores. The Tour Maubourg metro station is about 350 meters away and there are several bus stops nearby. The Rue Cler, with its market, is a short walk away.We are very familiar with Paris, and have stayed several times. We generally prefer to rent houses and apartments vs hotels and have done so for more than 30 years throughout Europe. That said, this apartment and Xavier have spoiled us for future travels. Xavier has a list of local stores, restaurants...and an especially good boulangerie. He gave us a thorough explaination of the appliances and features of the apartment and is nearby is needed. This apartment is in the top 5 of all the apartments we've rented and the top, by a far margin of the Paris apartments we've rented.You won't go wrong with this apartment and host.

Summary: Very nice spot, clean, roomy, quite convenient and very safe. Xavier was extremely helpful and supportive. Very nice touches with extra phone/ipad chargers and outlets and a bowl filed with random coins, just in case.We will return someday.

Summary: The apartment is clean and thoughtfully furnished and stocked. The location to public transportation (Metro, RER at Invalides)) is 10 minutes away. Another aspect I never addresses with prior Paris visits: using the bus. #69 around the corner and other bus stops close by offered many options. Shopping for food is ideal (10 minutes to Rue Cler) and less to the many nearby bakeries. We also appreciated the quietness of the apartment. This place is definitely on the 'must stay there again' list.
