Positive: Good points - great location. Host is very helpful and responds quickly to queries. The place is nice and cosy
Negative: Bad points - the main bedroom bed sheets smelt awful. I really liked my stay but this was not great. The other bedrooms bedsheets were fine was my wife was not happy with the main bedroom. Maybe the host forgot to change the sheets as they smelt used. No other bad points.

Negative: Only one toilet -for a family house, and only on the ground floor (bedrooms on 1st) via a very challenging staircase for kids. Lots of roosters around for a 6am wakeup call. Bedrooms get very hot in summer

Positive: The property is finished to a high standard with excellent use of space. The children's room was decorated with Efteling toys which my children loved. The rooms were dark which was great for sleeping and the mattresses were very comfortable. Our kids loved that there was Netflix and we all loved the outside space. It was more private than I expected too. It was super easy to pick up the keys and we liked the location too. it was only a 5 minute drive to Efteling. If we were to visit Efteling again, I would rebook this accommodation.
Negative: We couldn't switch on the central heating and it did feel cold. There was one heater which was useful but perhaps two heaters would be even better. We didn't contact the owner because we only stayed one night. The bathroom is downstairs and the spiral staircase is a little tricky for the children. For toddlers and young children, I would recommend getting a potty for them to use in the night. We had to get up with our children in the night to take them to the toilet. One of the bedrooms lack privacy as the staircase leads directly into the room and it is in between the other two rooms. This was not a problem for us because we are only a family of 4, so we used the two bedrooms with doors. It would also be fine for a larger family but perhaps more of an issue if travelling with friends.
Summary: We loved our stay. Thank you very much!
