Positive: The cottage was well-appointed, clean, and spacious, with a private bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Positive: The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Staying at a cabin was quite an experience.

Negative: The cabin, though well equipped, was very small. The hotel rooms in comparison looked more spacious and comfortable. The location of hotel was quite a distance from the main road. The small road was not lit at night. So its a bit challenging.

Positive: Good location. Restaurant and bar on-site.

Negative: We paid extra for a bungalow which gave us a little more room with the promise of a view. We had no view. Whilst the bungalow was ‘cosy’ in our opinion it needs some upgrading of bathroom and storage. The rooms in the hotel were significantly less expensive and were more modern. The quality of linen was fair. We had to walk from bungalow to hotel for meals and WiFi- no umbrella was provided.

Summary: Fair. Would not pay the extra for the bungalow.

Positive: Overall this was a great stay. The cabins are tiny and very simple, and it felt a bit like camping but that was fine! They were clean and the shower was hot. The wi-fi worked. There was a little coffee maker on a little shelf on the wall over one of the beds which was a little odd and difficult to actually use. The cabins are actually on the property of the Hotel Laki, and breakfast was there -- possibly the best breakfast of our trip! Also the hotel was able to do laundry for us -- $30 for a bag, but by this point we REALLY needed laundry done. We stayed one night and it was ready for the morning before we left.

Summary: Great stop on the way along the south coast. Simple, comfortable and convenient.
