Positive: Convenient location right next to the trail heads. Comfortable bed and clean room, en-suite bathroom, Breakfast included was good (by LATAM standards). Pool was nice for a bit when you arrive- but sun goes down around 3 so want to be there before then! Also got a small bottle of water and a cereal bar which was a nice addition. Dinner was reasonable for 25 soles. Would book again.
Negative: Water pressure was non-existent and the water is cold. I personally don’t mind as you have to consider the location/infrastructure etc. just something to bear in mind if it bothers you. (Also, I highly advise to book ahead, if you ask for a room on arrival, you are ONLY getting the bed for the price, as another couple I met there discovered. Showers and toilets are outside no toilet roll, no towel, breakfast at an additional cost.) Dinner could do with being a fraction earlier as everyone was waiting around hungry, also considering the early starts.

Positive: Nice to have a pool to swim after a long hike! The staff were very nice and accommodating. The prices for food and drink are reasonable considering they are brought in by donkey. We were lucky to see no scorpions.
Negative: As others say the rooms are very bare boned.

Positive: Really amazing place, clean pool refilled every day, such nice staff. Amazing views, facilities. Room is great, not much hot water, but it's ok.
Negative: Missing a mirror in the room Kiosk prices of water Couldn't find the place through the lodges searched for 20 minutes, no signage
