Positive: This is by far the most satisfying accommodation I’ve had during my multiple trips to Sri Lanka. The room is spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The private entrance via a separate staircase ensures great privacy. Both the AC and WiFi worked perfectly, and the bathroom has reliable hot water. I particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchenette, the abundance of power outlets, and the cozy seating area. The bed is large and super comfortable. The hosts and staff are wonderful—always ready to help with any request. It’s just a 5-6 minute walk to the main street and very close to the beach. Highly recommended!
Negative: It may use a solar water heater, so the water is a bit cooler in the mornings and evenings. Still, it was perfectly fine for me.

Positive: Room was spacious and bathroom was quite big. Located amidst greenery. Host was very nice, answered all our queries. He arranged transportation for us from Colombo. Walkable distance to Hikkaduwa beach and restaurants.
Negative: There was a cockroach and a spider in the bathroom. It could be because the hotel is in a garden.

Positive: We are happy that we decided to stay at the Residence Edelweiss because of the great reviews. The appartement is surrounded by greenery, it's very quit and we wake up with the sound of birds. The walk to the beach takes only a few minutes. You are given a very personal welcome from the owner and immediately feel at home. We would have liked to extend our stay, but unfortunately this was not possible as the accommodation is very well booked. We will definately return here on our next stay in Hikkaduwa.

Positive: I stayed here with my wife for 1.5 months. It was important for me that there was a table in the room where I could work on my laptop. Perfect location of the house. 5-10 minutes walk from the Narigama beach. Very polite owner. Special thanks to Ranga for maintaining perfect cleanliness. In my opinion, this is the best choice in Hikkaduwa. I truly recommend Edelweiss Residence

Positive: Stuff is very nice, always available for any support. Room is spacious and with nice balcony. Walk to the main road and beach is quite fast and calm.

Positive: A great apt in the jungles. to the main road and the beach maximum 5 mins walking. Since the apt is in the jungles it seems like you watch the National Geographic live: different birds, squirrels, monitor lizard, monkeys. On the way to the hotel saw scorpion and turtles. The facilities are great, big room, big bathroom with hot water, big fan we used rarely because it was too powerful, A/c, good internet. The kitchen has a stove with oven, fridge, toaster, teapot, big frying pan and cooking pan. Using them is a bit uncomfortable since they are too big for 2 people and you have wait long till it is got cooked plus more gas is used. The caretaker is super helpful.
Negative: We liked everything, no complains at all. Just a recommendation that it would be nice to have a bit of salt or sugar in the apt. We stayed for 2 weeks so we bought salt, oil etc. But for those who travels for a few days might be a problem.
