Positive: Houcine (the host) and the crew are very welcoming. The lodge is very beautiful and peaceful, especially after a long day on the road. Diner was delicious and breakfast was a typical morocan one. Thank you again Houcine !

Positive: I love the oasis and the desert. The botanical garden is beautiful, lush and green. Great farm to table food and breakfast. Houcin is a great host. The sleeping guest rooms and bathrooms are so clean. And the birds and almond blossoms.

Positive: Beautiful gardens with seating scattered throughout and small comfortable private lodges. Super quiet at night, even with a busy road outside. Secure parking. Lots of hot water. Tasty food and an amiable host.

Positive: Very welcoming host and refreshments. Nice garden setting. Appreciated getting the Wi-Fi device to be close to us - whether in our room or the garden area. Able to park the car in a gated area at the back of the property away from the state highway.

Negative: Although not the host's fault at all, the neighbourhood kids out front of the property were a little pushy (asking for money, etc). Do NOT give them any money as it just encourages them to do so in the future.

Positive: We had a wonderful time at the lodge. The garden is amazing and invites you to linger and relax. The team made sure that we had a warm welcome, including tea and snacks. Altogether, the staff is super friendly and Houcein is a great host who makes great efforts to make guests feel like at home. Regarding food, the team does a great job (vegan food is possible) - we even had a delicious dates juice in the morning. We would definitely book again!

Positive: My recent stay at Ecolodge was a delightful experience. Visiting out of season, I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and pleasant temperatures. The hospitality was perfect. The host shared stories and photographs of his life in the desert, sharing tea with nuts and dates. He also gave me suggestions about local places to explore. Architecturally, the place is built around a beautiful garden with palms and herbs, all enclosed within high walls and private studios built using traditional Moroccan techniques - similar to old ksar across the road. The culinary highlight was the lamb. Place is set in the Dra River Valley, with its lush palms set against drylands and a magnificent mesa on the horizon. Essentials like clean sheets, reliable hot water, and security were taken care of.

Positive: The host was very friendly. He took us on a nice walk after we arrived and was very accommodating - he even put nomad scarves on our heads a la Moroccan style. The gardens are lovely with lots of flowers, vegetables, and beautiful palm trees.
