Positive: We loved our five days in ecohabitas! This was our favourite place during our Mexican trip! The location is perfect and you are right next to the beach. The view from the balcony (upper room) is amazing and we enjoyed watching sunrise from the hammock in the mornings. Everything is basic, there is fan and only cold water in the shower, but for us it was everything we needed. We would love to come back!

Positive: You cannot beat the location. We were able to catch the sunrise over the ocean from our front porch every morning while laying in the hammock. There is free access to a kitchen with a fridge and cooking range and the beach is just seconds away. This was an excellent budget friendly place to stay and is extremely convenient due to its location. We felt very safe and secure there and didn't have to carry much with us to the beach since it was so close.

Negative: The water in the shower was only ever Luke warm but this is not really a problem, even though our stay was in winter time, the shower was refreshing rather freezing due to the beautiful climate in Mazunte.

Positive: Fantastic location, stunning view. Loved the early morning watching the sunrise and swinging in the hammock.

Negative: I’m not keen on palapa roofs and insects and gecko poo, so the open roof put me off a bit. It was also very hot. The sun is intense between the hours of 10am to 4pm and this meant it was unbearable for me to sit on the balcony and difficult to stay cool anywhere but in front of the fans in bed. I moved somewhere with AC and outside places in the shade. I am 52 though and may well have loved it more if I were younger!
