Positive: Loveeee the interior and the environment. Lisa & Leo made sure everything is ok with our stay. The dogs were lovely :) Sunrise and sunset looked amazing everyday. And we could see stars at night since there’s no light pollution. We learned a lot about coffee too (as non coffee drinkers), it was inspiring to see Lisa & Leo’s dedication and passion about coffee
Negative: The fridge is a bit old and not so cold anymore, would appreciate a better fridge to keep fresh food. Also it was flies season when we visited, couldnt stay outdoor because the flies were buzzing nonstop and so annoying 🥲 we wouldve stayed outdoor the whole day if it’s not bcs of the flies. But understood that it’s nature and we just had to accept it haha

Positive: Probably one of the most unique and lovely places to stay in North Sumatra. I honestly wish more people knew this place existed. We woke up to views of the coffee farm right outside our window. The studio was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen. My favorite part was the collection of amazing books! Lisa also took us around parts of the farm, where we learned so much about regenerative farming and sustainable agriculture. It was such a meaningful experience. Thank you so much, Lisa & Leo, for the warm welcome and for taking such great care of us. We had a wonderful stay :)

Positive: If you want to learn coffee from bean to cup, this is the right place. Both Leo and Lisa are a great hosts and experts in the coffee farming and processing. We were taught and given many information about coffee planting, coffee pest and agroforestry. The surrounding is very clean, no pollution, lots of wild life and perfect for people who like hiking and connecting with nature. As well as, perfect for people who seek quietness and connect to nature.
Negative: This is a place for you to connect with nature and avoid the busy life in the city, Recharge your inner energy , have a quiet time and seek beautiful Sumatra mountain scenery. Two thumbs up. :) Nothing to be complained about.
