Positive: Kitchen and dining room was fabulous and ideal for large groups. Living rooms were all comfortable and spacious. Swimming pool and hot tub were lovely and warm and enjoyed immensely by both kids as well as grown. Beautifully quiet location and lovely grounds to walk around.

Negative: Lack of wardrobes in some rooms, lack of facilities for toiletries in bathrooms, lack of curtains in one bedroom and curtains in at least one other bedroom need rehanging or replacing.

Summary: A fabulous house and an amazing family weekend for both adults and children. We'll be back!

Positive: Property was fantastic and hosts were really lovely. We were especially touched by the welcome basket which included a lot of useful things and local treats.

Negative: Would be great to come back in summer as the swimming pool is not heated

Positive: Beautiful location, welcome hamper on arrival and friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the house and grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. We had a group of 24 and we wanted for nothing as everything you needed was supplied and we cooked several meals with ease. The hot tub was lovely and hot and ready to use.

Negative: Some paving slabs or path to explore the grounds in bad weather as the grass was slightly waterlogged due to rain, however in the spring/summer this won’t be an issue.

Positive: the rooms were all a lovely size and it was nice to see it decorated, had it been warmer the outside spaces would have been super too!

Negative: the kitchen was under supplied - no cooking tins, measuring jugs, decent sized bowls or mugs!
