Positive: The chalet was well placed being 5 mins from Scalloway and 15 from Lerwick. Well equipped and very comfortable. Set on the side of a hill beside a garden that the owners had created. As a guest you can wander around the garden and it's well worth having a look. The owner is also an artist and has a studio that is open on certain days. Loved the honesty box in the polycrub (Shetland greenhouse)for teas and coffee while you sit and watch the weather and scenery. Honesty boxes are the thing on Shetland along with some lovely local shops. Great butchers/everything else shop in Scalloway being a great example.
Negative: Can't think of anything we didn't like. Just an observation that maybe if possible a ramp from the road to the chalet would make it accessible to more people.

Negative: Steps down to chalet not easy to manouevre with suitcases ,parking on rd above chalets but realise it wouldnt work any other way ...something to be aware of if elderly or infirm ..

Positive: I loved sitting in the lounge looking at the views and watching the weather. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of lovely hot water.
Negative: The chalets are a little bit tired. With a few snags that let it down but didn’t spoil our holiday.
