Positive: Ratheesh's place is really great for a family holiday. The location is beautiful, a stream nearby to bathe, the food is delicious and Ratheesh's family was great - our childern loved to play with them. He is also very helpful in organizing tours, cabs and tickets to anything you would need. An above all an attentive and friendly host. The rooms are great, have everything you need - our rooms were on the upper floor to we had our privacy, which was a great combination. Overall, highly recommended if you are in the Munnar region.

Positive: We had a magical stay at East Stavanger. It is in a beautiful valley, with a river and small waterfalls just few steps from the house. There is a nice natural pool in the river with excellent water for fun and swimming . The house is located in Rateesh’s big spices plantation and he walked us through so many spices trees and bushes and roots (cafe, coco, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, jack fruit etc. You will discover all when you stay here… and the birds… I could spend hours on the terrace just watching them, . Breakfast was great in a nice shaded pergola, and we also had vegetarian dinner which Rattesh cooked and was tasty. Rattesh is a wonderfulrfu host, always available. , kind and smiley and very knowledgeable about the area. Ask him about the areas elephants and tigers stories.., we also had the pleasure to meet daily his wife and children. So it feels like a homestay on the best way. We recommend!

Positive: The place is Heaven! Very nice and kind host. The place was very clean and private, surrounded by spice garden in the jungle with a small waterfall to swim just a few minutes walk from the property. Rathesh was extremely helpful and took good care of our family. We highly recommend it!!

Positive: Such an amazing place. Best I have been on my trip so far. The host is very friendly and helpful and an excellent chief. Room is clean and has a good, huge bathroom. The environment is calm, no cars, no tuk tuks to hear...just birds and the river nearby. Thank you for this unforgettable place :)

Positive: Stunning homestay near anaviratty. The family were amazing and super accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and prepared the room quickly in time for our arrival. They also helped us with recommendations for a half day hike in the letchmi hills and our onward travel to Thekaddy to visit the idukki dam along the way, which was amazing and well worth the stop. We also had dinner both nights, which was brilliant, and the hosts were super flexible to fit our schedules! We were shown around the spice garden on arrival, where we learnt so much. The setting and view from the homestay is amazing. Don’t miss a stay here if you’re coming to the munnar area!
