Summary: Sheila and Peter are great hosts. The room was lovely and beds very comfortable. Super breakfast - we had a lighter version of the cooked breakfast but could have had the full works.

Summary: What a wonderful place, both Peter and Sheila make you welcome upon arrival (make sure you ring the bell to the right of the main door to get thier attention). I stayed one night in the twin tweed room over looking the gorgeous countryside to the front and sides of the property. Its a traditional house built around 1830, with high ceilings and large rooms. The decor and furniture are high standard providing a comfy and relaxed atmosphere. The ensuite is well appointed, having a strong and hot shower head to relax those aching muscles. Toiletries and gorgeous white towels await you and a fine dressing robe too. I found the bed very comfy, in fact I fell asleep in no time and woke only to my morning alarm...high praise You can select a range of items for breakfast youre hosts will ask you the night before for youre choice. I feasted on fruit/yogurt, toast and then traditional English with vine tomatoes, quality black pudding and rich poached eggs..yummy. I can highly recommend the East Horton Farmhouse

Summary: A really cozy B&B with excellent breakfast. Host were great. A very relaxing two night stay. Great for exploring Northumberland A short taxi ride to Wooler.

Summary: It was a lovely place to stay. Peaceful. Near enough to everywhere we wanted to go. Sheila and Peter were friendly, helpful and not intrusive. We slept well. Very clean and spaceous. Nicer than the photos suggest. For some reason, at the time we booked, the hotels.com website said no sheets provided but of course there was full bedding etc. Happy to return.
