Negative: The cleanliness was not up to par, we could not use our door code, the kitchen cabinet was hung on by tape, and our last night there the septic alarm went off at 3am. Overall the cabin needed some TLC. The view and location was spectacular though!

Positive: Spectacular, clean, spacious, peaceful and lovely home with everything needed and breathtaking views. My family and I enjoyed every single bit of it and could not have ask for more. There are lots of fun activities around to do with your kids such as rafting, tubing, hiking, museums, train rides etc..We truly recommend this home and hope to come back again. We absolutely loved it!

Positive: The location was perfect for relaxing. I could hear the animals and also the creek . Very spacious house.

Negative: The patio furniture could use new cushions. The TV in the upstairs living room is mounted in an awkward location. All of the couches and chairs in that room are arranged to focus on the fireplace. To watch the TV, everyone would need to turn. Not all of the windows have coverings. Some have shades, some have blinds, and some don't have anything.

Summary: Great value for the money.

Positive: The views trump any problems we had with the house. The photos do not do the house or the views justice, The location and the views had us not wanting to leave the house; and we didn't some days, because the house was very comfortable, and did I mention the views!! When we called about issues the staff were prompt and efficient to fix what they could remotely, they even sent a tech for the TV which wasn't fixable. Customer Service is impeccable. The appliances, fridge, dishwasher etc, all worked well and were clean. The arcade game downstairs living room; awesome!!! 60 retro arcade games from pac man to donkey kong, if you figure out where the power button on the side it, that was a bonus!!!! This place is so awesome COMFORT and VIEW wise; that anything I am about to type in the WHAT DIDNT YOU LIKE section would not keep us from coming back to this beautiful getaway.

Negative: They changed the gate code. Once we were 8 minutes to the location from any cell service we had to turn around and make a call 8 minutes down the road; to be told that they FORGOT to inform us they changed the gate code. The upstairs living room TV did NOT work. There is ANOTHER living room downstairs and that TV worked fine, but it was an inconvenience to not have a working TV in the room we spent the most time in. The downstairs bedrooms did not have tvs in them. The water pressure sometimes was NIL and we just had to wait for it to come back. The washing machine was broken. It would fill up and drain; leaving us with sopping wet clothes with detergent on them. Housekeeping said she has informed them SEVERAL times and they just won't replace the faulty washer. If you continue to restart the washer, eventually it will finish its cycle. There was broken beer bottle glass around the fire pit. We don't drink; it was there when we got there. My daughter got a shard of glass in her foot. The bedroom downstairs that is not attached to the bathroom, when the room lights were turned on, and the closet light; the air conditioner for the house, and the wifi shut off. A tech came to check it out (when we were not there to tell him what was going on) and he left a note saying all is well, but he didn't realize when you turn all the lights on in that room it tripped a circuit causing wifi and air to go off. We just doubled up in the other bedroom and never used the third bedroom because the rooms are big enough for that, but we rented a three bedroom, and only ended up using two bedrooms because of the issue. The photos are outdated. There were curtains on the outside pavilion on the photos, but the outside deck curtains are gone. The outside lights; motion sensored and not motion sensored; HALF of them were burnt out, and its VERY dark with no street lights that high up in the mountain, lights are necessary after dark, and cell phone lights are not adequate.

Summary: Even with all of the small fixable issues we encountered; we will book this house again!!! THE VIEWS
